Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has Published notification for 598 posts of "Tax Assistant" in Sales Tax Department it's detail are as follow

Total No. of the Post: 598 Posts

Age Limit: (As on 1st August 2015)

• Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 Years
• Maximum age of the candidate should be 33 years.
• If candidate belongs to any reserved category then the age relaxation is upto 5 years.
• In case of disabilities maximum age limit will be upto 45 years.

Educational and Essential Qualification:

• Candidate should hold the Graduate degree from any recognized university.
• Candidate should have good knowledge of Marathi Language.
• The speed of Marathi typewriting of the candidate should be 30 WPM while for English typewriting the speed should be 40 WPM.

Application Fee:

• Fees Application for General Category: Rs. 365/-
• Fees Application for Reserved Category: Rs. 265/-
• Fees Application for Ex-Serviceman: Rs. 15/-

Pay Scale: Selected candidate will get salary in the scale of Rs. 5200- 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-

Selection Procedure: Final Selection of the candidates will be made on the candidate’s performance in Written Test only.
