Age Limit: As on 30 April, 2022, [SC/ST: 05 years Relaxation, OBC: 03 years Relaxation]

• Stipendary Trainee Category-I: 18 to 24 years
• Stipendary Trainee Category-II: 18 to 22 years
• Scientific Assistant / B (Safety): 18 to 30 years
• Technician / B (Library Science): 18 to 25 years
• Technician / B (Rigger): 18 to 25 years

Education Qualification:

• Stipendary Trainee Category-I: Engineering Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Civil / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation / Instrumentation Technology / Instrumentation & Control with 60% marks or B.Sc. (Chemistry)
• Stipendary Trainee Category-II: 10th Pass with 60% marks + ITI (AC Mechanic / Electrician / Electronic Mechanic / Fitter / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Turner / Welder / Lab Assistant) or 12th (PCM) with 60% marks
• Scientific Assistant / B (Safety): Any Engineering Diploma with 60% marks or B.Sc. with 60% marks. and One year Diploma / Certificate in Industrial Safety.
• Technician / B (Library Science): 10th pass with 60% marks / 12th (PCM) pass and Certificate of One year duration in Library Scienceissued by Technical Education Board of State Government or NTC (ITI pass out) of two year duration.
• Technician / B (Rigger): 10th / 12th (PCM) with 60% marks and Certificate of One year duration in Rigger Trade issued by Technical Education Board of State Government or NTC (ITI pass out) of two year duration.

Job Location: Tarapur & Kalpakam.

Selection Process:

• Category-I: Written Examination of one hour duration will be conducted and will comprise of 40 objective (multiple) type questions. ‘3’ marks for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.The syllabus for the said examination will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level as the case may be. Those candidates qualifying in the written examination shall be short-listed for interview. NRB reserves the right to restrict number of candidates to be called for interview.
• Category-II: The selection process will consist of tests in 3 stages, Stage 1 Preliminary Test, Stage 2 Advanced Test and Stage 3 Skill Test.

Exam Fee: For SC/ST/PWD/ExSM/Women No exam fee.

• Stipendary Trainee Category-I and Scientific Assistant / B (Safety): For General and OBC Rs. 150/-
• Stipendary Trainee Category-II, Technician / B (Library Science) and Technician / B (Rigger): For General and OBC Rs.100/-
