- Maharashtra State Government has recognized the High School Certificate Examination (H.S.C) conducted by the Education Board.
- General Nursing and Midwifery Diploma (G.N.M.) offered by the Maharashtra Nursing Council.
- Priority given to candidates with a B.Sc. Nursing degree. Registration with the Nursing Council is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience required for the positions of Nurse, Midwife, or Staff Nurse in Government / Semi-Government / Local Self-Government / Private Institutions.
- Candidates who have completed the improved General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing from Thane Municipal Corporation's affiliated training institute will be given priority.
- Proficiency in the Marathi language is necessary.
